Procurement Ops Analyst (Japanese Speaking)
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Operations Analyst who is proficient in Japanese to support procurement processes, vendor master data management, and coordination with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers. Proficiency in Mandarin will be an added advantage, especially when working with regional teams or vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform end-to-end procurement operations tasks including purchase requisition processing, purchase order creation, and supplier communication.
Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date Vendor Master Data in relevant systems.
Support sourcing and contract management activities using tools such as Ariba.
Collaborate with internal teams (finance, legal, compliance) and external vendors to ensure timely and accurate processing.
Handle inquiries and requests from Japanese-speaking stakeholders and suppliers; ensure professional communication and issue resolution.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency and data accuracy.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
Fluent in Japanese (reading, writing, and speaking) – mandatory.
Proficiency in Mandarin – not mandatory but an advantage.
1–2 years of experience in Procurement Operations or related domain.
Familiarity with Vendor Master Data Management is highly preferred.
Working knowledge of SAP and/or Ariba systems is advantageous but not mandatory.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
