Events & Marketing Operations (Japanese speaking)
Job Summary
Market Experts are the main POC interfacing between the local marketing team and the Central Ops team for all event projects. Each market would have 1x Market Expert assigned. There is a need for individuals to have the ability to read & write & speak proficiently in the language of the market, to write and edit copy, QA event emails and websites to check for language accuracy, review guest lists, manage guest queries (via email). There will be a need to operate proficiently in local market language in internal meetings with the local marketing teams and agencies. No voice calls with Ads customers in the language are required.
Key responsibilities
Holistic understanding of all the events happening in their assigned market
Engage the Central Ops shared services teams (Tool Setup & Analysts) and project manage tool setup and processes for events, troubleshooting & escalating as required
Provide regular updates on tool setup progress, and event progress reports in WIP meetings (Nominations, Registrations, Attendance status reports)
Crafts / edits website, email and registration form copy in language, QAs event website and emails from language perspective once setup by Tools Setup team
Obtains local Client sign off on tool setup
Handles guest management for events in partnership with local event organizing team
Deploys event comms email campaigns
Ensure audience swaps / manual registrations are updated in the system
Implementation of site waitlist / closure if event registration is at capacity
Key profile characteristics
● Strong project management including planning ( 2+ years of Experience)
● Strong client service (1-2 years of client facing exp.)
● Excellent attention to detail
● Ability to operate in English
● Excellent local language skills: reading, writing, speaking
● Strong data management abilities (spreadsheet proficiency)
