Job Summary:
We are seeking a Junior Developer to support AML/FMF operations using Fircosoft, a message transaction screening software. The role focuses on maintaining customized application interfaces, resolving defects, and supporting payment transaction workflows primarily originating from SWIFT messages.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Unix/Linux environments, basic SQL, and Java programming to handle application fixes and automation tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Support and maintain customized application interfaces for Fircosoft.
Troubleshoot and resolve application defects using Java and SQL.
Write and maintain Unix/Linux scripts for automation and process optimization.
Monitor RedHat Linux environments and ensure application stability.
Collaborate with operations, infrastructure, and business teams to support payment transaction processing.
Participate in patching, deployments, and configuration changes for Fircosoft applications.
Maintain operational documentation and defect tracking.
Assist in integrating Fircosoft with other systems and middleware (e.g., IBM MQ).
Required Skills:
3-5 years of experience in application development or support roles.
Proficiency in Java for defect fixes.
Strong Unix/Linux scripting skills.
Hands-on experience in Linux (RedHat) environment.
Basic SQL knowledge for data queries and troubleshooting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and team collaboration skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Knowledge of IBM MQ and message queuing.
Understanding of SWIFT messages and payment transaction processes.
Experience in banking or financial services environments.
Familiarity with BMC Control-M, Jenkins, SonarQube, Bitbucket, or other DevOps tools.
Exposure to Oracle Wallet, PPRC, Data Guard, WebLogic.
Experience supporting black-box applications like Fircosoft.
