Role Summary

We are seeking a Techno-Functional Business Analyst with strong expertise in SAP ETL, Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), and Master Data Governance (MDG). The role focuses on analyzing business processes, defining requirements, and supporting SAP-based data and system solutions. You will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful delivery, data integrity, and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze organizational processes and business models related to asset management and master data, ensuring alignment with SAP systems and technology.

  • Assess current-state (AS-IS) processes and define future-state (TO-BE) business processes and system solutions.

  • Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements for SAP ETL, EAM, and MDG initiatives.

  • Support ETL and data integration activities, including source-to-target mapping, transformation rules, data validation, and reconciliation.

  • Act as a functional SME for SAP EAM, supporting asset master data, maintenance processes, equipment hierarchies, and related workflows.

  • Support SAP MDG processes, including data models, governance rules, workflows, and approval mechanisms.

  • Facilitate workshops and working sessions to gather requirements and align stakeholders across business and IT teams.

  • Develop and maintain documentation such as process flows, functional specifications, data mappings, and governance guidelines.

  • Collaborate closely with technical teams during design, build, testing, and implementation phases.

  • Support testing activities (SIT, UAT), defect resolution, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, data quality enhancement, and automation, and recommend innovative solutions.

  • Provide regular updates on progress, risks, and milestones to stakeholders and project leadership.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience as a Business Analyst or Techno-Functional Analyst in SAP environments.

  • Hands-on knowledge of SAP ETL/data migration, SAP EAM, and SAP MDG.

  • Solid understanding of business process analysis and AS-IS / TO-BE process design.

  • Experience with requirements elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder management.

  • Ability to work across multiple teams and contribute to key project decisions.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations or transformations

  • Background in asset-intensive industries (oil & gas, utilities, manufacturing)

  • Exposure to data governance or data quality frameworks
