Job Summary:
We are seeking a Junior Murex Developer (L2) with 3–5 years of experience to join our MEA Tech team, focusing on Front Office (FO) and Back Office (BO) modules within the Murex platform. The role requires strong technical and analytical skills to support the development, customization, and optimization of Murex FO functionalities.
The ideal candidate will have exposure to Treasury Front Office operations, Trade Simulation, and Trade P&L processes, along with good understanding of the trade lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Murex customizations, reports, and interfaces for Front Office (FO) and Back Office (BO) modules.
Support configuration and enhancement of Murex workflows, including trade capture, simulation, and P&L analysis.
Develop SQL scripts, stored procedures, and data queries for system integration and reporting.
Collaborate with business analysts, traders, and risk teams to understand requirements and implement solutions.
Troubleshoot technical issues, perform root-cause analysis, and ensure timely resolution.
Participate in testing, deployment, and post-implementation support activities.
Ensure system stability and compliance with coding and documentation standards.
Required Skills & Experience
Experience: 3–5 years (L2) as a Murex Developer or similar technical role.
Platform / Product: Murex (Front Office focus; Back Office exposure preferred).
Server / Database: SQL Server 2012.
Operating System: Windows Server 2012.
Languages: SQL (mandatory for query and database operations).
Domain Knowledge: Good understanding of Treasury Front Office, Trade Simulation, and Trade P&L.
