Job Summary:
The L3 Support Engineer will be responsible for application maintenance and production support within the AS400 Channels & EAI platform. The role involves troubleshooting, issue resolution, and supporting deployments using DevOps and ALDON. Candidates should have experience working with payment systems and automation of software deployment on AS400.
Key Responsibilities:
Incident Management: Provide L3 support for AS400 applications, troubleshooting system and application issues.
Root Cause Analysis & Resolution: Work with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve application failures.
DevOps & ALDON Support: Assist in automating deployments and maintaining ALDON workflows.
Payment Systems Support: Monitor and support payment processing systems for smooth operations.
System Enhancements: Work on minor enhancements, bug fixes, and performance optimizations in RPG, C, and Java.
Coordination with Teams: Liaise with L1/L2 teams, developers, and business users to ensure timely issue resolution.
Must-Have Skills:
Experience with AS400, DB2, and RPG programming.
Knowledge of ALDON for software deployment automation.
Understanding of payment systems and their processes.
Basic experience in DevOps practices.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Good-to-Have Skills:
Experience with Java and C in AS400 environments.
Familiarity with middleware integrations in Channels & EAI.
Knowledge of AS400 system administration.
