Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by actively monitoring and investigating issues across various critical business systems. This role requires a dynamic approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behaviors, and ensuring smooth operation of multiple interconnected components. The professional collaborates with different teams to maintain system stability and promptly address any disruptions that may impact business continuity, contributing to a reliable and efficient technology environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of system issues and continuous improvement of support processes.
- Document troubleshooting steps and solutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance to enhance team capabilities.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in DevOps.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to streamline software delivery.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure as code and automation tools to manage cloud environments effectively.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools to proactively detect and resolve system anomalies.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex software and infrastructure issues in a multi-component environment.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in DevOps.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
