Summary:
As a Technology Platform Engineer, a typical day involves designing and establishing both production and non-production cloud environments tailored to project or product needs. This role includes deploying automation pipelines to streamline the creation and configuration of these environments, ensuring seamless integration and operational efficiency. The position requires continuous collaboration with various teams to maintain and enhance the platform infrastructure, supporting the overall technology ecosystem within the organization.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the implementation of automation strategies to improve environment setup and maintenance.
- Oversee the monitoring and optimization of cloud environments to ensure high availability and performance.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP PP Production Planning & Control Discrete Industries.
- Experience with cloud environment setup and management, including automation of deployment pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code and configuration management tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to platform environments.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment processes.
- Understanding of system monitoring and performance tuning in cloud-based platforms.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP PP Production Planning & Control Discrete Industries.
- A 15 years full-time education is required.
