Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software solutions that address unique business challenges. The role includes coding and refining various components within systems or applications, ensuring they meet performance and scalability requirements. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and adapting to evolving project needs are integral parts of the daily workflow. The engineer actively participates in iterative development cycles, applying modern methodologies to deliver efficient and reliable software products that align with organizational goals.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and integration within the team.
Professional & Technical Skills:
-Dataiku admin experience with basic knowledge of AWS services/concepts
- Experience in a customer-facing role, and using cloud/big data frameworks would be necessary to execute the requirements of the position.
-would be prior experience with administration within a federated IT Org, and experience in a dev environment (managing work via jira kanban, etc).
- Need someone who can take work requests and manage delivery, keep track of environmental metrics and help their users triage job performance and errors, and help implement their cloud data processes.
- Hands-on experience with Dataiku for data preparation, including workflows, automation and model deployment .
Excellent troubleshooting, testing and validation skills for data pipelines in Dataiku.
Solid experience of Dataiku connectivity with HDFS, Hadoop, Spark, Impala, Oracle, Teradata, Snowflake and other Cloud systems.
Ability to work with huge datasets. AWS services hands on knowledge
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Experience with cloud infrastructure management and deployment strategies.
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Ability to design scalable and maintainable software architectures.
- Familiarity with automation tools and continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines.
- Competence in troubleshooting and optimizing application performance in cloud environments.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
- should be willing to work in B shift 12.30 to 10pm
