In the role of Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineering Lead, a typical day involves taking full ownership of the design and continuous improvement of packaged or cloud-based software solutions. This includes managing the configuration settings, coordinating integrations with other systems, and overseeing the release cycles to ensure smooth deployment. The role requires setting and maintaining platform standards that guarantee system stability and optimal performance while balancing business requirements and vendor limitations. Collaboration with various stakeholders to align technical solutions with organizational goals is a key aspect of daily activities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to establish best practices and standards for packaged and cloud-based application development.
- Mentor and support team members to foster professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Selenium.
- Experience in designing and implementing automated testing frameworks using Selenium.
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and release management processes.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex integration and configuration issues.
- Familiarity with cloud-based application environments and SaaS deployment models.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Selenium.
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
