Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of specialized software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project lifecycle, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that the solutions meet the defined requirements. The position demands proactive communication and problem-solving to guide the project towards successful completion while maintaining alignment with organizational goals and client expectations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Oversee the integration of new features and enhancements to ensure seamless functionality.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align project objectives with business needs.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Project System (PS).
- Strong knowledge of project lifecycle management within SAP environments.
- Experience in configuring and customizing SAP Project System modules to meet business requirements.
- Ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into technical solutions.
- Familiarity with integration points between SAP Project System and other SAP modules.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering scalable and maintainable solutions.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP Project System (PS).
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
