Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer
Experience Level: Senior (L3 | 6-9 Years)
Location: Kuala Lumpur
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with 6-9 years of experience to support Digital Banking applications and platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong Java and Spring Boot development skills, experience with Oracle databases, and hands-on knowledge of Linux-based environments. You will be responsible for developing, deploying, maintaining, and supporting enterprise applications while working closely with development and operations teams to ensure reliable and efficient delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Support CI/CD processes and DevOps practices for application delivery.
- Manage and troubleshoot applications running on Linux, HPUX, and Solaris environments.
- Work with Oracle databases to develop, optimize, and maintain database solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Monitor application performance and resolve production issues.
- Participate in application deployment, testing, and release activities.
- Follow coding standards, security guidelines, and DevOps best practices.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
Required Skills:
- 6-9 years of experience in DevOps or Java application development.
- Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience working with Oracle databases.
- Hands-on experience with Linux, HPUX, and Solaris operating systems.
- Good understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and application deployment.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with Apache Camel (CXF), Spring Batch, JSP, and WebLogic Server.
- Knowledge of Unix Shell Scripting and JavaScript.
- Experience in Digital Banking or financial services environments.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Experience with automation, monitoring, and release management tools.
