Job Title - Senior Automation & Power Platform Developer (Python) – Corporate Functions

Job Summary:
This role will be part of the Global Workplace team, focusing on automation, application development, and process digitization using Python and Microsoft Power Platform.
The role is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining automated solutions, Power Apps, and workflows that improve operational efficiency, data quality, and business outcomes for Accenture and its clients. The individual will work closely with business stakeholders, analytics teams, and global delivery teams to translate requirements into scalable, secure, and high‑impact automation solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy automation solutions using Python and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse).
- Build Canvas and Model‑Driven Power Apps to support business processes, data collection, and operational reporting.
- Develop end‑to‑end automation workflows integrating Power Platform with enterprise systems (SharePoint, Excel, APIs, databases, M365, etc.).
- Create Python-based automations and scripts for data processing, validation, system integration, and backend logic.
- Integrate automation outputs with Power BI dashboards to enable insights and monitoring.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, SMEs, and global teams to understand business problems and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure solutions follow security, governance, and best practices across Power Platform environments.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying automation opportunities and optimizing existing solutions.
- Document solutions, provide knowledge transfer, and support adoption across teams.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Strong hands on experience with Python for automation, scripting, and data processing.
- Hands on development experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including:
- Power Apps (Canvas and/or Model Driven)
- Power Automate (Cloud flows, approvals, integrations)
- Dataverse
- Experience integrating Power Platform with SharePoint, Excel, Teams, Outlook, APIs, SQL databases.
- Understanding of automation concepts, workflows, triggers, connectors, and error handling.
- Experience with Power BI (data modeling, reports, dashboards) for automation insights.
- Good understanding of SDLC, testing, deployment, and environment management.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work with ambiguous business requirements and convert them into working solutions.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to collaborate with global, cross‑functional teams.
Good-to-have Skills.
- Experience building custom connectors or working with REST APIs.
- Knowledge of Power Platform CoE, governance, and security roles.
- Exposure to AI Builder, Copilot Studio, or intelligent automation use cases.
- Experience in domains such as Workplace.
Professional & Technical Certifications (Good to Have)
Microsoft certifications such as:
- PL‑100 / PL‑200 / PL‑400 (Power Platform)
- Certification in automation, analytics, or digital transformation from recognized institutes.
- Python or cloud‑related certifications.
Additional Information:
- Hybrid to all days working from office
- Any 10 hours shift from 10AM – 12AM IST rotational.
Experience:
- 5–8 years of overall experience in:
- Automation development
- Application development
- Low‑code / no‑code platforms
- Proven hands‑on delivery experience with Python and Power Platform solutions.
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
- Computer Science
- Information Systems
- Engineering
- Analytics / Data Science
- Or related disciplines
