Job Summary
At Accenture Song, delivering top-notch solutions means ensuring development outcomes align with expectations. While manual testing is still important, there's an increasing focus on automating various testing types - functional, regression, visual, performance, and compatibility. As a Technical Test Engineer, you will contribute to our automation efforts, helping enhance overall quality and efficiency.
Roles and Responsibilities will include:
- Work in agile environments, preferably using Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
- Assist in developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and report issues effectively.
- Perform UI, functional, regression, and smoke testing.
- Log bugs and provide clear documentation of test results.
- Show eagerness to learn and contribute proactively in a team environment.
- Maintain a high standard of work ethics and professionalism.
Who you are
- 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in manual testing.
- Exposure to Agile development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), and a basic understanding of story points, user stories, and sprint ceremonies.
- Good understanding of the software testing life cycle (STLC).
- Ability to write clear and concise test cases and bug reports.
- Familiarity with test management tools like Jira, Xray, or TestLink is a plus.
- Exposure to automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright is an added advantage.
- Hands-on experience with API testing will be an added advantage.
- Good to have knowledge/experience in the E-commerce domain.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and work well within a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in the testing domain.
