Summary:
As a Cloud Platform Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing cloud-based application solutions that seamlessly integrate with both cloud and traditional infrastructure. The role includes building and testing these solutions to ensure they meet performance and security standards. The engineer also deploys infrastructure and platform environments, often creating proof of architecture models to validate the feasibility and robustness of the proposed designs. Collaboration with various teams to align technical implementations with project goals is a key part of daily activities, ensuring smooth deployment and operational efficiency.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the evaluation and implementation of new cloud technologies to enhance platform capabilities.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure alignment of cloud platform strategies with organizational objectives.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Recruiting.
- Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure deployment and management.
- Experience in designing and testing cloud application architectures.
- Ability to integrate cloud and non-cloud systems effectively.
- Familiarity with security best practices and performance optimization in cloud environments.
- Skilled in creating proof of concept architectures to validate design approaches.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Workday Recruiting.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
