Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems using your expertise in Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL). Your typical day will involve working with Microsoft SQL Server and utilizing data modeling techniques and methodologies to ensure system integrity and performance. Roles & Responsibilities: - Collaborating with development teams to manage code deployments, software updates, and fixes. -Creating and maintaining documentation for support procedures, system configurations, and incident resolutions. -Responsible for maintaining and making available up-to-date contact information - supported product lists, technical information regarding products, troubleshooting information, all known fault handling information and other information of general use. -To interface with customer for all CSRs internal and external. - Strong hands-on experience in Design and implementation of end to end with Java8, Spring boot and Microservices solutions - Strong hands-on experience in solutioning AWS components / Open shift -Experience in CI/CD and DevOps pipeline -Oversee day-to-day operations and delivery of team (For Leads) -Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture. -Monitor team performance and report on metrics (For leads) -Discover training needs and provide coaching (For leads) -Experience in DevOps Tools and development model Professional & Technical Skills: - Experience in RESTful APIs in Spring Boot, micro services -Strong in core java or java 1.8 features -Experience in with different workflows of version control like git / bit bucket -Experience working in AWS components (Step Function, Lambda, EventBridge, S3, SNS, SQS) -Experience in writing unit tests with Junit, Mockito -Some experience in writing Terraform Scripts -Experience in code coverage and fixing sonar issues -Good knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using AWS/OpenShift -Good to have front end UI experience with react JS / Angular -Minimum 1 Experience in Agile methodology Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL) and Microsoft SQL Server. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions. - Willingness to work rotational B & C shifts,flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends, to support critical IT operations.
