Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical direction and architectural design of bespoke software solutions. This role requires guiding teams through the entire development lifecycle, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The position focuses on establishing development standards and ensuring that the software produced meets expectations for quality, scalability, and performance, all while aligning with the broader business goals. Collaboration and leadership are central to the daily activities, fostering an environment where innovation and technical excellence thrive.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the planning and execution of software development projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Mentor and support team members to enhance their skills and professional growth.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders and technical teams to ensure clarity and shared understanding.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Jakarta EE.
- Must have good knowledge of Java, J2EE, Multithreading.
- Must have experience on Relational & No-SQL (preferably Neo4J Graph / Mango) databases.
- Must have experience on Messaging through MQ/Kafka/Pulser.
- Must have experience on Spring (Core, Boot, Ws, etc.) and other open source tools & frameworks (Solr, Camel, Swagger etc.).
- Should have experience on Web front-end experience (Angular / react JS / HTML/CSS/JavaScript/Ext-JS).
- Should have experience on REST Web Services / micro services.
- Should have experience on AI-assisted software development.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Jakarta EE.
- The candidate should be willing to work from client location in Kharadi, Pune for 3 days a week.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
