As a Business Architect, a typical day involves identifying opportunities that can bring measurable business value by thoroughly evaluating the existing environment. The role includes gathering and understanding high-level requirements and shaping effective business solutions. This position requires translating complex business needs into technology-driven solutions and operational frameworks. Additionally, the Business Architect supports organizational transformation by preparing detailed business cases and steering the execution of critical initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and fostering continuous improvement across the enterprise.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure clarity and alignment.
- Drive the development and refinement of business models and processes to support strategic objectives.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance team capabilities.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Personal Insurance.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Life Insurance and P&C Insurance
- Strong analytical skills to assess business processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Experience in translating business requirements into technology-enabled solutions and operating models.
- Ability to develop comprehensive business cases that support transformation initiatives.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to engage effectively across diverse teams.
- Capability to guide and influence cross-functional teams during the implementation of key projects.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Personal Insurance.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
