Summary:
In the role of ServiceNow App Engine Senior Developer/ Technical lead, a typical day involves taking ownership of the design and continuous improvement of packaged or cloud-based solutions. This includes managing the configuration, overseeing system integrations, and coordinating release activities. The role requires setting and maintaining platform standards to ensure the solution remains stable and performs efficiently while aligning with both business objectives and vendor requirements. Collaboration with various stakeholders to drive the evolution of the platform and address emerging challenges is a key aspect of daily responsibilities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of best practices to enhance platform reliability and scalability.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units to ensure alignment of goals and deliverables.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow App Engine, Custom Apps, Orchestrator, Flow designer, application development
- Strong knowledge of platform configuration and customization within ServiceNow environments.
- Experience in managing integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems.
- Ability to design and implement scalable release management processes.
- Familiarity with performance optimization techniques and platform stability best practices.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to packaged applications.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in ServiceNow App Engine.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru / Pune/ Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
