Summary:
As a Full Stack Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and refining comprehensive system features that span from the user interface to the backend infrastructure. This role requires actively engaging in the development lifecycle to create innovative solutions that enhance client services. The engineer embraces a cloud-first approach and agile methodologies to address complex business challenges, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of the system components.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
Responsible for team decisions.
Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
Lead the coordination of development activities to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams to align technical efforts with business goals.
Apply approved AI coding assistants to Java/Spring Boot services, REST APIs, and persistence components for code generation, refactoring, debugging, and unit/integration testing. Validate generated code for correctness, security, concurrency, transaction handling, dependency risk, and performance before merge protect client data and retain human review accountability.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Spring Boot.
AI Technical Skills: Hands-on use of approved coding assistants (for example, GitHub Copilot) with context-rich prompting, generated-code review, and automated test validation. Ability to integrate LLM APIs into Java/Spring Boot services, implement structured outputs and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and manage authentication, timeouts, retries, and service observability. Evaluate response quality, latency, cost, prompt-injection resistance, and sensitive-data handling. AI tech stack: Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, LLM APIs, and project-approved retrieval/vector-store integrations framework examples include Spring AI or LangChain4j. Testing examples: JUnit, Mockito, and Spring Boot Test. Framework and platform choices are project-dependent.
Experience with Java programming and related frameworks.
Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
Familiarity with cloud platforms and deployment strategies.
Knowledge of front-end technologies and integration with backend services.
Ability to troubleshoot and optimize application performance.
Managerial Skills: Manage Spring Boot delivery through sprint planning, estimates, capacity allocation, dependency tracking, and release readiness coordinate application and platform teams, escalate risks, and mentor engineers.
Architectural Skills: Define Spring Boot service boundaries, REST API contracts, persistence and transaction patterns, and integration architecture design for authentication, resilience, scalability, and observability, and govern design reviews and architectural decisions.
-Knowledge of Capital Markets and Investment Management, with experience across securities, trading, portfolio management, investment operations, and related financial services processes.
Additional Information:
The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Spring Boot.
This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
A 15 years full time education is required.
