As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves creating tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications. The role requires working closely with different teams to ensure that the software meets specific business requirements. The engineer actively participates in iterative development cycles, applying modern methodologies to build scalable and efficient software products that align with organizational goals. Collaboration and continuous enhancement of software components are key aspects of the daily workflow, ensuring that solutions remain robust and adaptable to evolving needs.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement best practices within the team to improve software quality and delivery.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to align project objectives and resolve technical challenges.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Jakarta EE, Spring Boot, SQL, Scripting, Ignite.
- Experience with Java Enterprise Edition components and frameworks.
- Strong understanding of web services and RESTful API development.
- Familiarity with application servers and deployment processes.
- Knowledge of database integration and transaction management within enterprise applications.
- Ability to work with agile development methodologies and version control systems.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Jakarta EE.
- The candidate should be willing to work from client location in Kharadi, Pune for 3 days a week.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
