Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical vision and architectural framework of bespoke software projects. This role requires guiding teams through the entire lifecycle of software development, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The position demands continuous alignment of development efforts with strategic business goals, ensuring that solutions are robust, scalable, and maintain high performance. Collaboration with various stakeholders and teams is a key aspect, fostering an environment where innovation and quality are prioritized throughout the project execution.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance development processes and team productivity.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure seamless integration of software components.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery while maintaining quality standards.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Spring Boot, Java, Kafka, Kubernetes, Investment Banking.
- Strong expertise in designing and implementing microservices architectures using Spring Boot, Java.
- Experience with container orchestration and management using Kubernetes.
- In-depth understanding of financial domain concepts, particularly within investment banking.
- Ability to optimize application performance and scalability in complex environments.
- Familiarity with cloud-native development practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Spring Boot.
- The candidate should be willing to work from client location in Kharadi, Pune for 3 days a week.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
