About the product
SecuArchAssist is an AI-powered STRIDE threat modelling platform. You give it a code repository and it rebuilds the C4 architecture, maps trust-boundary data flows, and runs parallel LLM agents to find, cross-validate, score (DREAD) and report security threats.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and integration within the team.
- Build and maintain the FastAPI backend that runs the threat-modelling pipeline for each project.
- Extend the core stride-ai engine: repo ingestion, C4 reconstruction, DFD extraction, STRIDE agents, dedup and scoring.
- Design async, concurrent LLM orchestration with asyncio, including retries, rate limiting and structured JSON output.
- Model domain data with pydantic v2 and SQLModel/SQLite, and evolve the schema without breaking existing projects.
- Write prompts and agents that return verifiable, evidence-backed findings, not hallucinated ones.
- Keep test coverage high with pytest / pytest-asyncio.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Python (Programming Language).
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
- Experience with modern software frameworks and tools to build scalable applications.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Familiarity with debugging, testing, and performance optimization techniques.
- Good understanding of system architecture and integration concepts.
- 3+ years of backend work in Python 3.11+.
- Strong with FastAPI, pydantic v2 and async Python.
- Hands-on with LLM APIs (Anthropic and/or OpenAI), especially structured output and prompt design.
- Working knowledge of applicaton security: STRIDE, auth/authz, and common vulnerability classes.
- Good testing habits and clean, modular code.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Python (Programming Language).
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
- Embeddings and vector search (sentence-transformers, ChromaDB).
- C4 modelling or threat modelling experience.
- uv, Docker, cloud deployment.
- Some exposure to Next.js/TypeScript for working with the frontend team.
