Summary:
As a Technology Support Engineer, a typical day involves addressing and resolving incidents and problems that affect various business system components to maintain smooth and stable operations. The role includes managing change requests and ensuring that updates to knowledge resources are accurate and helpful for troubleshooting. Collaboration with external vendors and internal service management teams is a key part of the daily routine, focusing on analyzing issues and driving effective resolutions to support business continuity and operational excellence.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to document and improve operational processes to enhance team efficiency.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment on issue resolution and project goals.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and sharing knowledge to foster professional growth.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Talend Data Catalog Solutions.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Apache CXF.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Experience in managing and executing Requests for Change to minimize operational disruptions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with vendors and cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues.
- Familiarity with maintaining and updating knowledge base articles to support troubleshooting and knowledge sharing.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Talend Data Catalog Solutions.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
