Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical vision and architectural framework of bespoke software projects. This role requires guiding teams through the entire lifecycle of software development, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The position demands continuous alignment of development efforts with overarching business goals, ensuring that solutions are robust, scalable, and maintain high performance. Collaboration across various teams and stakeholders is a key aspect, fostering an environment where innovation and quality standards are prioritized throughout the project execution.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead the establishment and enforcement of development best practices and coding standards to maintain high-quality deliverables.
- Mentor and support team members to enhance their technical skills and professional growth.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure seamless integration and deployment of custom software solutions.
- Independently drive conversations on requirements from Customers and plans, design, implement, test, and document integration processes varying in levels of complexity for integration Solution design in Coupa procurement environment, Customize and Configure Coupa application as per business requirements
- Architecting, designing and implementing a robust data model and integration framework between ERP systems (SAP, Oracle etc.) and Coupa modules
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Coupa.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture principles and design patterns relevant to custom software development.
- Experience in managing and leading software development teams to deliver complex projects on time.
- Ability to analyze and resolve technical challenges that impact multiple teams and systems.
- Familiarity with performance optimization techniques and scalable system design.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Coupa.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
