Summary:
As a Senior OutSystems Developer, a typical day involves designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-grade banking applications on OutSystems 11 and ODC platforms. The role requires active participation in solution implementation, integration development, performance optimization, and technical troubleshooting while ensuring adherence to architecture standards and delivery best practices. The position demands strong hands-on development expertise, banking domain exposure, and the ability to contribute effectively across the software development lifecycle.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Expected to be an SME and collaborate with project teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying applications using OutSystems.
Engage with architects, business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders to deliver business requirements.
Develop reusable components, integrations, and framework assets to accelerate project delivery.
Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to solution implementation decisions.
Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis for application incidents.
Optimize application performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Ensure adherence to coding standards, security requirements, and OutSystems best practices.
Support DevOps activities, release deployments, and environment management.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical knowledge sharing within the team.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in OutSystems 11 and ODC Development.
Strong hands-on experience in developing enterprise applications using OutSystems.
Experience in developing integrations using REST APIs, SOAP services, and external systems.
Good understanding of architecture principles, application lifecycle management, and development best practices.
Experience with SQL performance tuning, reactive web applications, mobile applications, and integration patterns.
Exposure to banking and financial services applications is preferred.
Familiarity with Azure, DevOps pipelines, Git-based source control, and automated deployment processes.
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration abilities.
Good to have understanding and exposure to mobile application development using Flutter.
Familiarity with mobile application concepts such as offline data synchronization, push notifications, responsive design, and application performance optimization is preferred.
Additional Information:
The candidate should have minimum 12 years of total IT experience.
The candidate should possess at least 7-8 years of hands-on experience in OutSystems development.
Experience working on enterprise-scale applications in banking or financial services domain is preferred.
OutSystems certifications (Associate, Professional, Tech Lead, or Architecture certifications) would be an added advantage.
This position is based at Pune/Bangalore/Hyderabad
A 15 years full time education is required.
