Summary:
As a Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or cloud-based applications to tailor features according to evolving business requirements. The role includes managing software releases and ensuring the overall stability and performance of the systems. The engineer works with various standard tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to deliver solutions that align with organizational goals while maintaining compatibility across different environments. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to address operational challenges and optimize application functionality is also a key part of the daily routine.
As Inference Engineer: you will have main roles
Hands-on experience with vLLM/SGLang/TensorRT-LLM or similar serving stacks
Strong understanding of KV cache, batching, quantization, speculative decoding and GPU optimization
Experience benchmarking and optimizing latency, throughput and memory utilization
Exposure to agentic, tool-calling and multi-user LLM workloads
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become a subject matter expert.
- Required active participation and contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective application configurations.
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain system reliability.
- Document configuration changes and maintain knowledge bases to support team learning.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Machine Learning (ML).
- Strong understanding of application integration using APIs and low-code platforms.
- Ability to manage software release cycles and deployment processes effectively.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving application performance issues.
- Familiarity with cloud-based application environments and their operational considerations.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Large Language Models (LLMs).
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
