Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating multi-disciplinary planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and ensure high-quality standards throughout the application lifecycle. This role requires overseeing the development and implementation of comprehensive testing strategies that align with business and functional requirements. The day also includes defining and monitoring key performance indicators to evaluate testing effectiveness, managing test execution, and facilitating defect resolution to maintain product excellence.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of testing frameworks and processes to support evolving project needs.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on quality objectives and timely delivery.
- Drive innovation in quality engineering practices by evaluating and adopting new tools and methodologies.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Playwright.
- Strong knowledge of automated testing frameworks and their integration within continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
- Experience in designing and implementing end-to-end testing strategies that cover functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Ability to analyze test results and metrics to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement.
- Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools to ensure efficient issue resolution and reporting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering scalable and maintainable testing solutions.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Playwright.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
