As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves creating tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications. The role requires working closely with different teams to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient software products. The engineer applies modern development frameworks and follows agile methodologies to meet specific business requirements, continuously refining and enhancing software to support evolving organizational goals and user needs.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement best practices in software development to improve team productivity and product quality.
- Mentor junior team members to foster professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of database design principles and experience in creating efficient data models.
- Ability to analyze complex data requirements and translate them into scalable data structures.
- Experience with relational and non-relational database systems to support diverse application needs.
- Familiarity with data integration and transformation processes to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
- Capability to collaborate with software development teams to align data models with application architecture.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
