Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM) Consultant to support an SAP S/4HANA Greenfield. implementation. The role requires hands-on expertise in standard and custom business objects, Functional Specification documentation, configuration, Build/FUT, and testing, with a focus on end-to-end transportation processes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Functional Specifications & Solution Design
- Prepare Functional Specifications for enhancements, forms, reports, and other RICEFW development objects, including standard and custom business objects.
- Conduct fit-gap analysis and translate business requirements into functional solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment with the SAP TM solution design.
SAP TM Configuration & Integration
- Configure and support Freight Units, Freight Orders, Transportation Cockpit, Freight Costing, Charge Management, Freight Settlement, Carrier Selection, Tendering, and Transportation Execution.
- Manage and validate SAP TM master data, including Zones, Lanes, Schedules, Resources, and Freight Agreements.
- Support integration with SAP SD, MM, EWM, GTS, Finance, and third-party applications.
- Exposure to SAP BN4L Freight Collaboration (FC), project44 (P44), and Global Track & Trace (GTT) is an advantage
Build Support
- Support Build activities, including configuration completion and functional validation.
- Prepare test data and support Functional Acceptance Testing (FAT) for related Functional Specifications.
- Coordinate with development teams to validate enhancements, forms, reports, and integration requirements.
Testing & Deployment
- Prepare SIT scenarios and test cases based on functional requirements and end-to-end business processes.
- Execute SIT, document defects, coordinate resolution, and perform retesting.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), training, cutover, and deployment activities.
- Liaise with SAP and cross-functional teams to resolve functional and integration issues.
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and integration within the team.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment of project goals and timely delivery.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Hands-on expertise in Advanced SAP TM (embedded in SAP S/4HANA), with experience as an SAP TM Consultant in at least two SAP S/4HANA Greenfield implementation projects.
- Strong expertise in Functional Specifications, SAP TM configuration, Build/FUT, and testing.
- Practical knowledge of transportation planning, execution, freight costing, freight settlement, and carrier collaboration.
- Experience in test data preparation, FAT, SIT preparation and execution, and defect resolution.
- Understanding of SAP TM integration with other SAP modules and third-party applications.
- Experience in stakeholder collaboration, training, cutover, and liaison with SAP.
- Exposure to SAP BN4L Freight Collaboration (FC), Global Track & Trace (GTT) and Project44 (P44).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP TM Transportation Management.
- Strong knowledge of transportation management processes and integration within enterprise systems.
- Experience in customizing and extending SAP TM modules to meet specific business needs.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to transportation management.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies in the context of SAP solutions.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP TM Transportation Management.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
