Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by actively monitoring and investigating issues across various critical business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying system anomalies and collaborating with different teams to ensure smooth and uninterrupted service delivery. The position demands vigilance and adaptability to swiftly address and resolve challenges that may arise within complex software environments, contributing to the overall stability and efficiency of business operations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and troubleshoot system issues effectively.
- Document findings and resolutions clearly to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and sharing best practices.
- Continuously monitor system performance and recommend enhancements to improve reliability and efficiency.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Splunk Administration.
- Experience in managing and configuring Splunk environments to support enterprise-level applications.
- Ability to analyze log data and generate meaningful reports to assist in problem resolution.
- Strong understanding of system monitoring and alerting mechanisms within Splunk.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting techniques for distributed systems and application logs.
- Capability to optimize Splunk queries and dashboards for enhanced performance and usability.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Splunk Administration.
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
