Summary:
As a Data Architect, a typical day involves defining the data requirements and designing the structure necessary for the application. This role includes modeling the data architecture, determining how data will be stored efficiently, and ensuring seamless integration across various components. The position requires a thoughtful approach to organizing data to support application functionality and scalability, while collaborating with different stakeholders to align data strategies with project goals. The Data Architect plays a key role in shaping the foundation upon which applications operate, ensuring data is accessible, reliable, and well-structured throughout the development lifecycle.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the design and implementation of data architecture strategies that align with organizational objectives.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure data requirements are clearly understood and met.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Strong knowledge of data modeling techniques and best practices for scalable data storage solutions.
- Experience in designing data integration workflows and managing data pipelines.
- Ability to optimize data architecture for performance, reliability, and security.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and distributed computing environments.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
