Summary:
As a Cloud Platform Engineer, a typical day involves designing and constructing cloud application solutions that seamlessly integrate both cloud-based and traditional infrastructure. The role includes testing and deploying these solutions to ensure they meet performance and security standards. Additionally, the engineer develops and deploys infrastructure and platform environments, often creating proof of architecture models to validate the feasibility and robustness of proposed designs. Collaboration with various teams to align architecture with business needs and operational requirements is also a key part of the daily routine.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of cloud infrastructure.
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance reliability and scalability.
- Document architecture designs and deployment processes to support knowledge sharing and operational continuity.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support in understanding cloud platform concepts.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Site Reliability Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure components and deployment methodologies.
- Experience with automation tools and scripting to streamline infrastructure management.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and implement effective solutions.
- Familiarity with monitoring and alerting systems to maintain high availability.
- Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering.
- This position is based at our BDC7C - SEZ office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
