As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves analyzing various application components to understand their structure and functionality. The role includes designing solutions tailored to client requirements, writing and testing code to ensure quality and performance, and performing ongoing maintenance and enhancements to improve system reliability. Collaboration with different teams and adapting to evolving project needs are integral parts of the daily workflow, ensuring that applications meet client expectations and operate efficiently across multiple environments.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and resolve complex technical challenges within projects.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to align project goals and deliverables.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team productivity and software quality.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in PeopleSoft Administration.
- Experience in managing PeopleSoft environments including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft architecture and its integration with other enterprise systems.
- Ability to perform system upgrades, patches, and apply fixes to maintain system stability.
- Skilled in monitoring system performance and implementing tuning measures to optimize operations.
- Experience with database management and backup strategies related to PeopleSoft applications.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in PeopleSoft Administration.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
