As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software solutions that enhance various system components and applications. The role requires working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient software products. The engineer actively participates in iterative development cycles, applying modern frameworks and agile methodologies to meet evolving business requirements. Collaboration and continuous improvement are key aspects, as the engineer refines code and integrates new features to support organizational goals and user needs.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement best practices within the team to improve software quality and delivery timelines.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Data Warehouse ETL Testing.
- Strong knowledge of distributed computing and big data processing concepts.
- Experience in designing and optimizing data pipelines for performance and scalability.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and integration techniques.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex data workflows and implement effective solutions.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
