Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business processes and application needs. This role requires a deep understanding of how to translate business requirements into functional software solutions, ensuring that the applications developed align with organizational goals. The workday often includes collaborating with various stakeholders to gather requirements, iterating on design concepts, and refining application features to enhance overall performance and user experience. Continuous evaluation and adjustment of the software ensure it remains effective and responsive to evolving business demands.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement best practices within the team to improve efficiency and quality.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring to support the growth and development of junior team members.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment of project goals and timely delivery.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Salesforce Industries Communications Cloud.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Salesforce Lightning Web Components, Salesforce Omnistudio Platform.
- Strong expertise in application design and configuration within Salesforce environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Salesforce applications.
- Experience in integrating Salesforce solutions with other enterprise systems and platforms.
- Familiarity with best practices in software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Salesforce Industries Communications Cloud.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
