Summary:
As a Test Automation Engineer, a typical day involves applying quality processes and leveraging automation tools and methodologies to enhance testing products and solutions. The role requires overseeing the entire quality engineering function with a strong emphasis on automation, ensuring improved control, accuracy, and integrity throughout the testing lifecycle. This position involves continuous collaboration with various teams to maintain high standards and deliver reliable, efficient testing outcomes that support overall project goals.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify process improvements and implement best practices within the team.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on quality objectives and deliverables.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Playwright, TypeScript, JavaScript, Investment Banking.
- Strong experience in designing and implementing automated test scripts using Playwright.
- In-depth understanding of test automation frameworks and continuous integration processes.
- Ability to analyze complex systems and develop effective testing strategies.
- Experience in debugging and troubleshooting automation scripts to ensure reliability.
- Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development environments.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Playwright, TypeScript, JavaScript, Cypress.
- This position is based at our Pune Magarpatta office, 2 days a week.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
