Summary:
As a Data Migration Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the entire data migration process to guarantee that data is transferred accurately and comprehensively to the new system. This role requires coordinating with various teams to establish a clear migration strategy, implementing necessary controls, and proactively managing potential risks. The position demands continuous monitoring of progress and ensuring that all aspects of the migration align with project goals, facilitating a seamless and dependable transition to the target environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of migration plans to meet project timelines and quality standards.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure alignment and address any challenges promptly.
- Monitor migration progress and implement corrective actions when necessary to maintain project momentum.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and fostering a collaborative work environment.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Veeva Vault.
- Strong knowledge of data migration methodologies and best practices.
- Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
- Ability to identify and mitigate risks associated with data migration activities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to develop effective solutions during migration challenges.
- Familiarity with data validation and quality assurance techniques to ensure data integrity.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Veeva Vault.
- This position is based at our Kolkata office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
