Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced AVEVA PI System Senior Analyst to support and enhance enterprise historian solutions for a leading global pharmaceutical organization. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in AVEVA PI System administration, data integration, and manufacturing analytics, with experience in regulated (GxP) environments and CSV documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Strong hands-on experience with administration, configuration and support for AVEVA PI System, including but not limited to PI Data Archive (with high Availability),
PI Asset Framework (AF), PI Vision, PI Web API, PI Interfaces/Connectors, PI Analysis, PI Notifications, PI developer technologies (PI JDBC, PI ODLED, RTQP etc..) and PI Client tools.
Develop, maintain and troubleshoot PI AF asset models, analyses, event frames, AF Templates, Data references, linked tables and other related AF objects.
Should possess necessary understanding and troubleshooting skills for PI System integration with SCADA, OPC, OPCAE, MES, Flat files, SQL databases, and other
manufacturing, home grown applications.
Experience with industrial automation technologies such as PLC, DCS, SCADA, OPC DA/UA, and industrial communication protocols.
Should possess proficiency in designing, managing and troubleshooting PI Interfaces including but not limited to RDBMS, OPC DA, UFL, PerfMon, Performance
Equation, PI Connectors for OPC UA, PI System Connector, ModBus, PI EFGen.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide L2/L3 production support.
Support system upgrades, migrations, IS patching, backup & restore activity, and high-availability configurations along with routine maintenance, performance
tuning, system health checks, and archiving management on AVEVA PI Servers
Ensure compliance with GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, data integrity, ALCOA requirements along with understanding for CSV documents like URS, FS, DS/SCS,
IQ, OQ, OSP and other CSV deliverables.
Should voluntarily collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Production, Automation, Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, and IT to deliver
solutions to customers.
Good knowledge of SQL Server, Microsoft Windows Server, PowerShell, and basic scripting.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Instrumentation, or a related field.
6–10 years of IT/OT experience with at least 7 years of hands-on experience with AVEVA PI System.
Experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences organizations.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 6–10 years of IT/OT experience with at least 7 years of hands-on experience with AVEVA PI System.
- This position is based at multiple locations.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
