Summary:
As a Large Language Model Developer, a typical day involves refining and adapting advanced language models to better suit specific domains and instructions. This role requires continuous engagement with evolving model architectures and datasets to improve the relevance and effectiveness of the models in various applications. The workday includes analyzing model outputs, iterating on fine-tuning strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align model capabilities with project goals. Attention to detail and a focus on enhancing model performance in targeted contexts are central to daily activities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of fine-tuning strategies to optimize model performance.
- Coordinate knowledge sharing sessions to foster team growth and innovation.
- Monitor and evaluate model outputs to ensure alignment with project objectives.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Large Language Models, Python Frameworks, Generative AI.
- Strong experience with model fine-tuning techniques, including instruction fine-tuning and domain adaptation.
- Ability to work with large-scale datasets and preprocess data for model training.
- Familiarity with neural network architectures and transformer-based models.
- Experience in debugging and optimizing model training workflows.
- Capability to collaborate effectively with data scientists, engineers, and product teams.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in Large Language Models.
- This position is based at our PDC3C - SEZ office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
