Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves analyzing various application components and designing solutions tailored to client needs. The role includes coding and testing multiple parts of the software to ensure functionality and quality. Additionally, the position requires performing maintenance and implementing enhancements to improve existing systems. Collaboration with different stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective software solutions is a key aspect of the daily routine, ensuring that client expectations are met through continuous development and support activities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and resolve technical challenges within projects to maintain smooth progress.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to support professional growth and project success.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP for Retail.
- Strong understanding of retail business processes and how they integrate with software solutions.
- Experience in software development lifecycle including design, coding, testing, and maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues effectively.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and tools relevant to SAP environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in software engineering tasks.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP for Retail.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
