As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software solutions that enhance various system components and applications. Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the coordination of development activities to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders and technical teams to align project objectives.
- Continuously evaluate and improve software development processes to enhance team productivity and product quality.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- Strong experience in object-oriented programming and modularization techniques within SAP environments.
- Ability to optimize code performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues in SAP HANA systems.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and tools to connect SAP modules and external applications.
- Experience in developing and maintaining custom reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms.
- Knowledge of agile software development practices and version control systems.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
