As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves developing and configuring software systems tailored to meet specific project requirements or managing the entire product lifecycle. This role requires applying a comprehensive understanding of various technologies, methodologies, and tools to effectively support clients and project teams. The work includes collaborating with different stakeholders to ensure software solutions align with project goals and contribute to the overall success of the product or service. Continuous engagement with evolving processes and adapting to new challenges are integral parts of the daily routine.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead the coordination of cross-functional efforts to ensure seamless integration of software components.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance software quality and team productivity.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Automotive Digital Cockpit Solutions.
- Experience in software architecture design and system integration within automotive environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex software issues and deliver effective solutions.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle processes and best practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Knowledge of embedded systems and real-time operating systems relevant to automotive applications.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Automotive Digital Cockpit Solutions.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
