Summary:
As a Cloud Migration Engineer, a typical day involves evaluating current systems and infrastructure to determine the best approach for transitioning to cloud environments. This role includes planning and executing the migration of applications and data, ensuring that the solutions implemented are scalable and deliver high performance. The position requires coordinating with various stakeholders to align migration strategies with business goals, while continuously monitoring progress to achieve seamless integration with private and public cloud platforms. The engineer plays a key role in driving innovative outcomes that support the evolving needs of the organization.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of cloud migration strategies to ensure minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and skill development within the team to enhance overall performance and adaptability.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align cloud migration efforts with organizational objectives and compliance requirements.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in .NET Architecture.
- Strong experience in designing and implementing scalable cloud-based solutions using both private and public cloud platforms.
- In-depth understanding of application and data migration processes, including assessment, planning, and execution phases.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud infrastructure and migration.
- Familiarity with cloud security best practices and compliance standards to ensure secure migration and operation.
- Experience in performance tuning and optimization of cloud-hosted applications.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in .NET Architecture.
- This position is based at our Mumbai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
