Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively identifying and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires continuous monitoring and analysis to ensure system stability and performance. The position demands collaboration with different teams to maintain seamless operations and swiftly address any disruptions that may impact business processes. The engineer plays a vital role in maintaining the health of critical applications, ensuring that business functions run smoothly and efficiently throughout the day.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to improve system reliability and optimize support processes.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical and problem-solving skills.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP HANA Technical Architecture.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with SAP SLO Upgrades & Migrations.
- Strong knowledge of database management and system integration within SAP environments.
- Ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
- Experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting of SAP HANA systems.
- Familiarity with system monitoring tools and incident management processes.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP HANA Technical Architecture.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
