Quality Engineer
Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Good to have skills : Software Quality Assurance (SQA)

Summary:
As a Quality Engineer, your day involves collaborating with diverse teams to design and implement comprehensive solutions that enhance the software delivery process. You engage in planning activities that integrate various components of the development ecosystem, ensuring seamless coordination across different disciplines. Your role includes continuous testing efforts that span security, application programming interfaces, and regression suites, contributing to the overall reliability of the product. You also develop and maintain automation strategies and scripts, while managing data and environment configurations. Regular participation in code reviews and defect monitoring supports ongoing improvements throughout the testing lifecycle, fostering a culture of quality and efficiency.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align testing strategies with project goals.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance testing processes to improve quality and efficiency.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Playwright.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Software Quality Assurance (SQA).
- Strong understanding of automation frameworks and scripting techniques.
- Experience in continuous integration and continuous deployment environments.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex software issues.
- Familiarity with API testing and security testing methodologies.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Playwright.
- This position is based at our Kolkata office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
