Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by diligently investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying system anomalies and delivering timely solutions to maintain seamless business operations. The position demands continuous monitoring, collaboration with different teams, and a commitment to ensuring the reliability and efficiency of critical software applications within the organization.
Roles & Responsibilities:
-Configure and manage SAP BIB for EC SAP HCM integration
-Perform field mapping, value mapping, and transformation logic design
-Configure replication of employee and organizational data between systems
-Provide functional and technical solutions aligned to business needs
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Document and communicate findings and resolutions clearly to stakeholders.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of support processes and tools to enhance service delivery.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members to foster knowledge sharing and skill development.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Must To Have Skills:
-Strong expertise in SAP BIB configuration & mapping
-Knowledge of Data replication & migration concepts
-ABAP basics and BADIs for replication
- Ability to define mapping logic & business rules
-Handle complex employee data scenario
-Ability to work with business users to understand payroll requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Good communication skills to document issues and collaborate with diverse teams.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 4 to 5 years of experience in SAP BIB.
-EC to SAP Payroll integration via BIB
-Employee master data replication (EC and HCM)
-Organizational data synchronization
-Migration from legacy HCM to EC
