Project Role Description : Support the operations and/or manage delivery for production systems and services based on operational requirements and service agreement.

Summary:
Responsible for design, deployment, monitoring, and optimization of enterprise WAN, LAN, and WLAN environments using SD-WAN (Juniper SSR/SRX) and Juniper Mist AI platform, ensuring high availability, performance, and user experience.

Roles & Responsibilities:
1. SD-WAN (WAN Domain)
Design, deploy, and manage SD-WAN solutions across branch and data center environments
Configure application-aware routing, traffic steering, and failover policies
Monitor WAN edge health, tunnels, and application performance using telemetry and analytics
Troubleshoot WAN issues (latency, packet loss, brownouts, ISP issues) and ensure service continuity
Support integration with SASE platforms (Prisma, Zscaler, Secure Edge)

2. Juniper MIST (AIOps & Campus)
Monitor and manage network using Juniper Mist dashboards, SLEs, and Marvis AI insights
Perform AI-driven proactive troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA)
Analyze anomalies (Wi-Fi, LAN, WAN) and resolve issues before user impact
Optimize user experience using SLE metrics (latency, throughput, roaming, client health)
Implement configuration changes, RF optimization, and performance tuning

3. Network Operations (VNOC/NOC)
Perform 24 7 monitoring, alert validation, and incident management
Execute proactive issue identification using trends and telemetry
Validate service restoration and maintain SLA/KPI compliance
Collaborate with L2/L3/OEM/ISP teams for escalations and permanent fixes
Maintain incident documentation, RCA, and continuous improvement initiatives

4. Implementation & Projects
Lead or support network deployment, upgrades, and migration projects
Configure devices: Juniper SRX, SSR, EX switches, Mist APs
Perform integration testing, change execution, and rollout planning
Develop LLD, HLD, SOPs, and topology documentation

5. Automation & Optimization
Leverage Mist APIs / automation tools for operational efficiency
Use AI insights to reduce MTTR / MTTI and incident volumes
Identify opportunities for automation and self-healing networks

6. Stakeholder & Communication
Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams
Provide technical updates, reports, and service health dashboards
Support audits, compliance, and governance processes

Professional & Technical Skills:
Behavioral Skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work in high-pressure NOC/VNOC environments
Effective communication and stakeholder management
Fast learner with adaptability to new technologies
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of:
o Routing protocols: BGP, OSPF
o Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, VLAN, QoS
o SD-WAN architecture and deployment
Hands-on with:
o Juniper Mist AI (Wireless/Wired/WAN Assurance)
o Juniper SRX / SSR / EX / AP platforms
Experience in:
o Network troubleshooting & diagnostics tools
o Monitoring & analytics (telemetry-based operations)


Additional Information:
Experience & Qualification
4–10+ years in Network Engineering (WAN/LAN/WLAN)
Experience in SD-WAN (Juniper & Cisco)

Certifications (Preferred)
Juniper MIST (JNCIA-Mist / JNCIS-Mist)
Juniper Routing & Switching (JNCIA/JNCIS)
SD-WAN / CCNP / SASE certifications
