Job Summary:
As a Splunk Enterprise and Observability Developer, you will be responsible for managing, developing, configuring, and optimizing Splunk environments to ensure high availability, performance, and security. You will support observability solutions across infrastructure, applications, and services, enabling proactive monitoring and troubleshooting for business-critical systems.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Development and Administration of Splunk Observability, Splunk Cloud & Splunk ITSI environments.
- Manage dashboards, alerts, and reports for operational insights.
- Configure and manage data ingestion from multiple sources (logs, metrics, traces).
- Perform Health check and Troubleshoot OTEL agent communication issues
- Automate routine tasks using scripts, Agent AI
- Prepare Runbooks and SOP documentation
- Collaborate with technical towers and configure monitoring parameters as per request.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Must Have Skills:
- Strong experience on Splunk Observability, Splunk Cloud & Splunk ITSI environments.
- Expertise in scripting preferably Python and SPL queries
- Knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Terraform, DevOps pipeline
- Knowledge of data onboarding, parsing, and field extractions.
- Knowledge in Automation/Agentic AI
Good To Have Skills:
- Exposure to container monitoring (Kubernetes, Docker) and OpenTelemetry.
- Understanding of ITIL processes and SNOW incident management workflows.
- Knowledge on Network monitoring tools
- Good communication
