Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by actively monitoring and investigating issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a dynamic approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behavior, and ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications. The professional collaborates with different teams to maintain system stability and promptly address any disruptions that may impact business continuity, contributing to a reliable and efficient technology environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of system issues and continuous improvement of application performance.
- Document findings and solutions clearly to support knowledge sharing and future troubleshooting efforts.
- Assist in the development and implementation of monitoring strategies to proactively detect potential system failures.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on troubleshooting techniques.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Dynatrace APM.
- Experience in monitoring application performance and diagnosing issues using advanced application performance management tools.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret system data and identify root causes of complex problems.
- Ability to work with multiple technology stacks and understand interdependencies within business-critical systems.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Capability to document technical processes and solutions in a clear and concise manner.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Dynatrace APM.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
